What a Bore! Work was very slow today. However, I did get to make the bread today, on a whim, so that was pretty fun. So instead of talking about dishes and the like, I have posted pictures of the restaurant, since many of you want to see what it’s all about. It is a long, narrow space with a side room where the AI students have class and then 2 kitchen/prep areas. There is no formal walk-in, just 4 fridges, 3 chest freezers, and a small dorm freezer. Overall, not very much for a resteraunt that can seat up to 100 comfortably. In the pictures, you will see my home, the dish pit and the space where they smoke is just before the door to the courtyard. The courtyard is lovely now, I am sure summer is bellisimo. They grow fresh lemons, bay leaves, and such out here, very cool.
